Would you protect your blind dog’s face with a hoop to help lead them? According to Sue Manning journalist for Teen Tribune, a woman named Silvie Bordeaux did! She decided to make a new invention for her cancer survivor, named Muffin. Muffin is a blind 14-year old dog who was saved by this wonderful creation. In Los Angeles, the volunteer for the American Maltese Association Rescue thought it was a good idea for the animals because the hoop slows the animal down and it minimizes trauma to the face. It reduces injury to disabled dogs and saves lives. In conclusion, the animals are saved by this lightweight copper tubing that attaches to cloth wings and a harness fitted around the neck and chest. I chose this article because I love animals
