Since the day of Sep. 11, 2001 the United States has used drones kill suspected
terrorists in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, and other countries. The first drones used
was in late 2001 against Taliban, but by February 2002 the CIA hasn’t used a drone for a strike
outside military support.
Drones being used in warfare would be a smart resolution. Using drones would make less
men/ woman being killed or put in risk from certain situations. From the article Phil for

Some people that are new to the drone combat probably came to the conclusion that
drones are really expensive. A big advantage to a drone is that they are cheaper because size, fuel
and maintain than regular airplanes. The article from prosandcons.org states that ‘’$5 billion is
the budget for the defense department, which the entire drone program constitutes only 1% of the
whole annual military budget.’’ Not only that but other famous aircrafts like the raptor,
Hawkeye, and the spirit cost well over a million dollars.
Drones should unquestionably be used in aircrafts, and combat. Less people would be put
in risk of lethal situations, more missions could be accomplished, and drones are very simple to
operate. Using drones will be another big step for our country, let’s work smarter and together so
