On the note of stereotypes against women, another we had to read was “Wears Jump Suit. Sensible Shoes. Uses Husband's Last Name” by Deborah Tannen. This article was about how women easily judge other women without a problem, but we never judge men. This article taught me a lot about reading, writing, researching, critical analysis, femininity and women. Reading was taught by actual reading the article. I learned that you must be careful what you read because bias comes out very easily while writing. Continuing with that, while writing you must be careful not to show bias because it makes your paper not reliable and ineffective. Researching goes along the same lines.
