User Friendly Ginny

Love can be defined as putting someone's needs before than yours. The short story “User Friendly” features a boy named Kevin who’s computer falls in love with him. “Selfish” by PNB Rock, PNB writes about being selfish and wanting a women all to himself. The theme of “User Friendly” and Selfish is that Love Hurts. This essay will illustrate how the theme of love was created in these two different works.

The short story “User Friendly” features a boy named Kevin who’s computer falls in love with him. “Selfish” by PNB Rock, PNB writes about The story shows that love hurts, and to resemble love hurts I picked the song Selfish by PNB Rock. The artist repeats these lines, “I want you all to myself/ You don't need nobody else/ I want you all to myself/ Because I'm selfish yea” (Lines ). These are the lyrics we are focusing on because the guy is getting super attached . He says he wants her all to himself and that she doesn't need anyone else. This just shows later on when it doesn't work he's gonna be heartbroken and then it shows love just hurts at the end of everything. People are getting tired of the same thing and when she does he will no longer be selfish he’ll be broken. Through the repetition and rhyme in his song , PNB shows the reader that he’s selfish and all he wants is her. Love is a difficult thing to understand, many don't but everyone will fall in love one
