Saki is famous for one of his short stories called The Interlopers. The Interlopers is said to have a good amount of irony in it. It does in fact have this. The Interlopers is about two men who have a burning hatred for each other and it has been this way for generations in their family name. They both seek to kill the other or have the other die in some way. The irony of this story comes in what happens at the end. The irony in the story is that both men die. This might not sound like irony but it is under the circumstances that they die as to why it’s irony. The two men in Saki’s short story hated each other.
