Look around signs everywhere “NO CELL PHONES” “NO CELL PHONES” But what about in the classroom? Should we be able to use them for educational purposes? Well...cell phones kind of have a bad reputation,Schools have no problem buying other electronics that are not phones. They will buy chromebooks and tablets,but we can’t get over the idea of bringing cell phones into the classroom environment. Lately more schools are getting use to the idea of having them in the classroom. More people need to get use to that idea too.Having cell phones in class can be a genuinely useful tool for students and teachers. Yes, students are on their cell phones for a great deal of time every day. We all know that even the students know that. But on the contrary students should be able to use their cell phones in class considering when taking quizzes and test using a phone can make it much easier to complete the task. Instead photocopying large amounts of paper and handing them out, your mobile phone allows you to easily perform this function.” Says Andrea Leyden in her article (40 reasons for smartphones in school.)Why waste all that paper and slaughter all those trees,When teacher can just send out the notes they would have given us on the paper. A lot of students tend to leave their notes at school and then when it’s time to do their homework, they don’t know how to do it then the work becomes incomplete an insufficient .If our notes were sent to us we would constantly have access to them at home. Now there’s no more incomplete, insufficient work and the teachers can’t criticize or complain. For a very scarce amount of time a few seconds of sending the notes out they get better work coming in and the students get better grade seems like a win win in this
