Importance of usability test: After reviewing the above articles, the results suggested that before implementing CDSS or any new interventions of CDSS, it is extremely important to conduct a usability test and redesign the system based on the feedbacks given by the end-users. The studies included in this paper all had different reasons and location of the healthcare but one thing that was common was the idea of having a system which is user friendly and easy to use and at the same time improves quality of care. Table 1 includes the purpose of each paper and its results. Usability testing was done in an iterative process in all the studies, except one. After initial designing, the system was evaluated by the end-users. End-users then provided feedbacks about the system which included barriers to the system. The system then was redesigned and barriers determined by the participants were eliminated. The results of each study suggested increased in system usability score after the redesigning. Figure1 shows how system usability survey scores has increased in every study after the post- redesigning of the CDSS system. It compared pre usability rates with post designing rates. Out of 6, 5 articles had done iterative study process described above. There was only one study which did not had iterative process. This study took a different approach to show important of usability testing. Two systems were compared using usability testing. One system was based on usability principles called at-a-glance system. All the studies, used the suability testing as means to identify barriers. By using these barriers as an improvement point and removing the issues, CDSS was proven to be a better usable system every single time in every single article as seen on Figure
