Urszula Kozak Research Paper

The esteemed photographer Urszula Kozak was born in Brenna, Poland in 1976. Her childhood was very different from most children, she grew up in a former communist town where she was around animals, family love, and plenty of farms. In November of 1984, her family decided to move to Toronto, Canada. She has lived there since and has continued to develop her career there. The height of her career was when she released her photo shoots of “Authentic Africa” in 2013. She was given her first camera from her mother’s partner at the age of 12. She began to experiment and took images of anything and everything she possibly could. Once she moved to Ottawa in 2004, she made photography her full job. Soon after she traveled to Africa and shot her best images of her career. It was inspired by the amazing animals and the nature, she wanted to capture images of them as if they were people, also the character and uniqueness that each animal had. This photo shoot impacter her career greatly and increased her fan base. She has then since then expanded her genres. She now takes many portrait shots, nature shots, and images of models. Kenya, because of the light animals, and the incredible culture. South East Asia because of the culture, food, and people. Hawaii because of the amazing water and animals on the island. Finally, Europe because of the amazing architecture and older small towns. I believe she has a great work ethic in which she works fantastically under pressure and likes when she has something new and exciting and is learning in the process of shooting.
