As examples, school and religious setting are components of the microsystem that have directly affected my development. I started school at Sinnott Elementary School, which is considered the best elementary school in Milpitas, and switched to Randall Elementary, a very low-ranking school in Milpitas, before second grade started. An immediate effect from this change in school was being exposed to more ethnicities and culture. I am Asian, and Sinnott was made up of a majority of Asian students.
