The very first system is a micro-system. In a microsystem, a child is affected by his immediate environment like; home, daycare, and his peer group. Here, the two-person dyads are building blocks of the social structure. Macrosystem is the largest among all four-ecological system model. It is comprised of social and cultural values. Here, a child shares a belief and values of the society.
Taking these ecological theory system as a reference in my life, it has a great impact. I was born in Nepal. It is a federal democratic country which lies in-between India and China. Nepal is also a secular country rich in variety of culture, religion, language, and different ethnic group. Though there are different cultures and religions in Nepal, people live happily together like a garland made up of variety of flowers.
My grandparents were born in Gulmi district which lies in Northern part of Nepal. They used to live in a community filled with different castes. During the period of my grandparents, women were not allowed to go school. Also, there was not separate building for school. So, my grandmother did not have a chance to have a formal education. Later in her life, she had a vocational education. Whereas, my grandfather was able to get education. There was not school during his time, so he used to go to his “gurus” (teacher) house for education.
