I picked the Quick family Urgent Care because I used to live around the area and this is a clinic that my family and friends always attended, so you can say we are pretty familiar with this clinic and the people that work there. I felt comfortable when contacting the office manager, Diana Sood but before I remembered this clinic existed, I remember finding myself thinking throughout this semester, as to who I can contact, to learn more information about being in the healthcare field, no one really seemed to stand out and it was actually kind of a nerve wrecking experience thinking that I would have to talk to someone in such a high standing position, but eventually it came to mind that talking to these professionals aren’t as intimidating as I may think and luckily, I’ve been in many hospitals and medical offices before. …show more content…
Although I would love to manage a hospital at such a young age, I know that’s not a realistic position at this time. So I began to look into other options such as office managers, administrator at a nursing home, or even an administrator at a health insurance company. I was interested on getting more information about being an office manager at a physician’s office or clinic, so I set out to learn more about it. As I contacted Mrs. Sood, I asked her questions as to what one might need in order to manage such a fast paced environment and what exactly her day to day jobs consist of.
