In the process of doing research, I found information that helped me decide what field of psychology I wanted to be in. For example, the fact that counseling psychologist work with other people from this field. Giving us this assignment it helped us realize how tedious our jobs are going to be. I found that dealing with people’s minds everyday is a tough job to have because there are obstacles that can hinder the relationship. For instance, working with other people’s minds can cause a mixed message between patient and doctor or there could end up being an emotional connection between patient and doctor meaning that the doctor would feel guilty for events in the patient’s life. Overall, it seems like it would be the best fit because I want to help people, but difficult in so many ways. However, I am up for the challenge.
