American toads can lay up to 4,000 to 8,000 eggs in two rows. (Poor and Grossman Biokids). This isn't common knowledge and some people don't know that about frogs and frogs lay 3000 - 7000 eggs less than toads.Upland Chorus Frogs can only lay up to 1,000 eggs.(Wildscreen Upland Chorus Frogs). The earliest breeding frogs is found in Tennessee. This is not known to everyone and doesn't know. Both frogs and toads lay eggs in the months March - May (VanDeWalle 3). Sometimes it is good to have to breed in the cooler months because depending on where they breed at then the water maybe warmer. They have to have their eggs in warmer months. That is how they have eggs.
Finally, here are many things that toads can eat and that is what will be discussed in this paragraph. While toads get more into an adult toads can eat whatever but most toads “eat insects and earthworms” (VanDeWalle 3), that is because they have learned how to eat and became better at it. People may not know what they eat or may think they are vegetarians. While frogs eat insects, spiders and other invertebrates. (VanDeWalle 8).When tadpoles are born they “are herbivores they graze on aquatic vegetation (algae).” (Poor and Grossman Biokids).Tadpoles are known to not eat and these are toad tadpoles
To sum it up,frogs and toads are not the same. They have many differences and sometimes people get them mixed up or think they are the same. Toads and frogs may look the same but they are not.
