Unwound Runaways

Connor, Risa and Lev are three teens who brace themselves for a negative life changing experience. Their parent have ordered them to be unwound. Lev is used to be unwound, he is prepared every time, his parent see being unwound a religious sacrifice. Conner greatly fears being unwound so he takes Risa and runs away from his parents and the cops. On the run they encounter a baby left on a door step, and they have the idea to use the baby as a disguise as a mother and father. Conner sees a cop parked across the street, they quickly grab the baby and get onto a school bus.
Lev tried to turn in Connor and Risa at the office of the school, then soon realises he has made a mistake betraying his friends. Lev saw cops pulling up at the school and pulled the fire alarm to let Connor and Risa escape. Not having a clear exit Connor and Risa decide to hide,soon being found by a teacher who decides to help them. Lev met a boy named CyFi who taught him how to find food and steel without getting caught. CyFi claimed to be a runaway but Lev struggled to trust him.

It was an antique shop run by a woman named Sonia, they found out it was a hideout for unwound runaways. They meet many new friends and teens who tell their story of how they ran away. Roland was aggressive and always had a problem with Conner doesn't talk about how he ran away. Together, they moved from hideout to hideout until they get to a large warehouse. While there, Roland force himself onto Risa then Connor intervenes and Risa starts to see him as a hero. CyFi turns out to be a regular boy with part of an Unwind brain transplanted in his. The brain transplant is causing CyFi problems as he has flashbacks and arguments with himself. His goal is to reach the Unwind
