In the following I will present the teenage novel "Unschuldig - Pretty Little Liars", written by Sara Shepard and published in 2009 in munich.The german translation is from Violeta Topalova. The book is about 5 girls who are really close friends, but than their "Leader" Alison disapears and the girls get bothered by "A", who knows their biggest secret and every secret of each girl.

Sara shepard was born in 1977 and grew up in Philadelphia, where she collected experinces which had inspire her to write these novels.
It was not a dream of her to become an author in her childhood
She has studied in New york and after that she lived in Tucson, Arizona. Today she is living again in Philadelphia.

5. Kind of analysis
The story is narrated by an omniscient narrator and in every chapter you are following an other protagonist,which is very useful because they have grown apart but they have similar fates and are connected with these.
Sara Shepard directly talks to the reader, so that you feel close to the actions. The characters are well developed because very girl has their strengthen and weaknesses. That makes the story interesting because the girls who seems to be perfect also have their issues. Furthermore you can say that the characters are getting through development in the story. She build tension very clever, so that you are like addicted to the book.
As a reader you want to read on and on because you want to know who A is and where does he or she know the secrets from. Also the ending of book is very surprising.
