Unlimited Spirt, Limited Spirit, and Corporeal Bodies In the universe there are three different types of spirits, unlimited spirits, limited spirits, and corporeal bodies. Each spirit is unique in the way that it exists within the universe. Anselm discusses these in Proslogion 6 & 13, discussing it in relation to God, humans, and even other spiritual bodies such as Angels. The most essential elements to distinguish the difference is how they exist and function in time and space. Unlimited and limited spirits are almost completely different whereas corporeal bodies, according to Anselm, are considered to be limited spirits as well.
