Universal Standard Research Paper

I’m unsure if I think a universal standard is the best way to go as I believe a universal standard takes away from the practitioner’s ability to freely interact with the patient. Also, every patient is different so a universal standard can truly be universal. I know that I have seen people who get offended when using their last name and tell me they’re too young to be referred to as Mr. or Ms., it’s all patient dependent and while being patient dependent it’s important that it is made known that people are different. I believe this is a simple conversation that should just be had, if you as an employee are not comfortable leading the conversation mention it to your boss and that person will have the conversation.
