Technology is advancing so quickly and before we know it, there will be very little need for jobs. These machines will be so advanced, they will be able to do anything we ask them to do and even be able to solve problems on its own. The question is whether we would even need jobs because of this. Obviously technology would take out a lot of the jobs once needed, but there would still be jobs open in specific areas. Technology always has issues and there is always a problem to solve with it. They are considering having a universal income where everyone gets $10,000. They think that this can be a solution to the lack of jobs and income, and that this is not an idea of the future, but an idea that we should consider today. A universal income would definitely make sure people are able to provide for their families. There are also down sides to this universal income. What do you do about the people that are already making an income? Would they have to lose that income and only make $10,000? Or would they get their income plus the $10,000?
