Genres are ways to communicate and express with different types of materials than can be used in literature and in real life situations. Genres can range from A scholarly article, newspaper article, documentary and a visual like an advertisement or cartoon. I’m going to be going over two different types of Genres. Both pertain to the issue of health care in the United States. I used a visual comic and an article. I will explain the goal of both Genres and if they achieved their goal then describing their structuring. Then I will go over the audiences pertaining to the particular group of people the author and artist are aiming towards. I will also analyze whether they are using Ethos, Pathos or Logos as a tool to aid in their article or visual. Introduction
The U.S. is one of the most developed and financially stable countries in the world. If the Two Genres both pertaining towards the problems with the United States healthcare system. The first is a comic showing the private healthcare system working. It shows a man in a fat suit denying the idea of ever establishing a universal healthcare system because it would cause instability. The second Genre is an article on how the U.S. has the priciest health care but has been ranked low on quality of care.
