One of the biggest issues right now denying the steps to achieve health for all, is that the United states will go under greater debt. If the federal government paid for every single person, the costs would without a doubt add up fast. So the only way to pay for health care would be through the government or the people, and people do not want to be taxed anymore than they already are. Another issue that arrives is the government’s involvement in the daily lives of citizens. Most people believe, and have the right to believe, that the federal government has enough power as is, and should take control of another branch that affects us so deeply. Medicaid and Social Security are already ran by the federal government, and they are both in serious debt. If taken full control of another serious program, it is highly likely that the government will run it into debt too. There is also the whole Communism issue that arises giving the government more power to the point of no return, but flat out paranoia isn’t going to solve any issues. Instead, it provides benefits that people just refuse to see or believe. One less bill is no joke, and removing the need to pay health care and taking away a tax that will penalize anyone who can’t pay for said health care will remove a hefty weight for citizens shoulders. People shouldn’t have to pay these large sums of money for surgery and other procedures when in fact your life is in danger in the hands of these professionals. Hardly any citizen can pay up to a million dollars for a heart transplant and especially the post costs that add up. The medical field already has its problems as “ Medical errors are costing the United States 400,000 people and one trillion dollars yearly” (McCann). These are 400,00 people that never asked to be taken away from their family. 400,000 deaths is not acceptable, and it certainly doesn’t help knowing that those people practically paid for their own demise. These are also more deaths than the amount of people that go uninsured, which is just does not logically add up and is rather depressing. One trillion dollars is also a large sum of money that can be reduced if the American people only cared. The United States’s Declaration of Independence promises every citizen life, liberty and the pursuit of happyness. How is a citizen supposed to receive these promises if they deny their rights to universal health care. It is the natural born right of every citizen in the
