The book Searching for Whitopia, to me literally means white-utopia. There are many contributors showing that Forsyth is a primarily a white county. Some of them being quotes and others being facts. Also, there is many problems with having segregated communities, if we were okay with this we would be a lost cause of a country. Benjamin never experiences racial bigotry during his time in Forsyth County. Yet the book gives us some obvious examples that Forsyth is primarily white, this bringing segregated communities.

I have never been asked this question before, so I didn 't want to just answer it with the book. I have three points from my perspective with some examples of the book to back up what I am saying. First, if you live in an area where everyone is only one ethnicity, you will never get culturalzed. Every culture has a unique aspect that it brings to a community. Second education, if you live in a neighborhood that does not have a lot of money, the school is not going to be good either. This causing others to have differences in their education, an example from the book is in chapter 7; " when school system changes that’s when you get parents moving to other school systems so their kids will be in the majority." My final point is, every community has qualities that they feel makes them better or worse than others. If you add segregation into that giving supremacy vs. minorities, there will be a war outbreak because every ethnicities community is going to say they are better than the next, giving them community segregation they get to use their race as the reason for being better. Your race does not make you better or worse than the next. Its you, you decide not the color of your skin. Our country is built from different ethnicities, the judgment that people make for race only affects you if you let
