After reading, United Way: Damage Control for a Nonprofit’s Image, there are some question that still need to be answered. One question is “what is Elaine Chao doing now?” The biggest question of all is “What is the situation with United Way today?” Other smaller questions are: “Are all local agencies contributing to the national?”, “Has Brian Gallagher Brought more transparency to the organization?”, “How would you judge the public image of united Way Worldwide today?” All of these questions will be answered in this paper.

The biggest question after reading this article is, what is the situation with United Way today? United Way has a mission, “United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common well,” which can be found on the United Way wed page. United Way has partners to reach a common goal by which: “United Way works with companies, governments, nonprofits and other organizations to address complex challenges on a worldwide scale. Our partners contribute more than money. Their ideas, volunteer power, in-kind support and more are helping build stronger communities”. Even though the local agency don’t contribute much in the way of money, they do for United Way’s brand image. Most of North American community won’t see what United Way Worldwide does unless it is on the new but chances are it won’t be for their community. However, community will be able to see and be a part of what their local United Way does.
