Resting on the Utah-Colorado border, a new land was stumbled upon in a split in the earth’s crust. As soon as its discovery, legislation was being written to protect the discovery and all who were in it.
President Obama personally made an executive order on behalf of the preservation of orcs, giants spiders, and Balrog-type species (which came out of Middle earth) so that they ‘ could be enjoyed for generations to come’. Although this seems like good stewardship shown to these creatures, when observing the basis on which President Obama’s executive order existed upon, there was none to be observed. According to this law, Congress must withhold 10% of the state’s federal funds, for educational purposes, if the state does not comply with these name laws. In South Dakota v. Doles it concludes that withholding a small amount of funds is constitutional and is not considered as bribery of the state. In this case, however, a greater purpose is at hand than just the funds issue — states intervening on personal rights. Is it legal for some states to force its’ citizens into having certain names? The Hobbits and other citizens alike should be permitted to name their children generally whatever they desire. As is known, one’s culture plays a major factor in what the parents name the child. For instance, Indians named their children names that signified something as a characteristic, a tribute, or for some other sacred reason. Whatever the case, the naming of a child is a bestowal to a parent that they must decide what to call him or her. Moreover, the ones who have already received their names and do not have a first and last name should not have to acquire one so that their names may also fit the culture of the inhabitants of America, either, for that is by whom he or she is recognized. This business of names interferes in private citizens’ lives and like the laws mentioned before is held to be unconstitutional by the judgement of the court. Therefore this law is
