The United States Preventive Service Task Force (USPSTF) recommends to skip the annual screening of breast cancer to checking it every two years, starting at the age of 50. These guidelines is very controversial to many advocacy groups. The responsibilities and goals of the USPSTF is to efficiently prevent deaths of breast cancer and to save as many lives as possible. It is important to understand that breast cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death among women (USPSTF, 2017). Their objective is to provide evidence-based recommendations so that it allows the patient to think about their own decisions about when to start mammography screening. After watching the videos from both side of the arguments, the false-positive must be prevented.
