A plan. Everyone needs a plan, your family at home, your school, and your place of work. According to Webster’s (2005) a plan is defined as, “A detailed scheme, program, or method worked out beforehand for the accomplishment of an object.” (p. 852). Plans are used for all sorts of reasons. Some plan for a honeymoon, others their college career. In government, there are millions of civilians, contractors, and military personnel whose whole job is to make plans for the continuity of our country and everything we hold dear. One of the most important is the United States Government’s National Response Plan (NRP).
