There were varies factors we considered and decided on to make the event as successful as possible.
Target Market – We decided on two different times for year 10-11 and year 7-9 as we need to make sure that everyone year 10 and year 11 attend the event. So, the time the students will be taken off their timetable to attend careers fair.
The event will be open for other year groups at a different time to help them give a better understanding of the purpose of the event and help them with a head start to think what they might want to do the future. We decided only to use students at the Open Academy rather than including other schools because our school is more assessable to the students as we are organising and planning the vent whereas it might take longer to organise a time for other sixth form to attend the event

Which means she have already given us an opening and closing time. So, if we had an opportunity to hold the event at a different time we could have but due to our client’s requirement we could not change the date and time.
Lecture/ Talk - We decided to have a lecture/ talk about the careers event in the beginning to let people know in advance that we are organising an event. However, this was rejected later because we thought as a team it wouldn’t be very effective as many people might not pay attention to the talk. The idea of having an assembly was rejected as none of the members felt comfortable doing it in front of many year groups. As we felt there was enough advertisement since we are sending out letters, having posters around the school, having a banner on the school website and twitter.
Online Feedback - The idea of having survey monkey for feedback was rejected as it was not an effective method to collect enough feedback because not many people will use survey monkey. Therefore, the results we get will be wrong and
