To many service users it will no longer be considered acceptable that the way people home care and supported living is delivered, is from a narrow range of council commissioned services. If SCC simply continue to re-tender like-for-like domiciliary care and supported living services when current contracts expire, choice remains limited to a menu of relatively expensive interventions delivered by traditional homecare
