On doing so, I found that my clients skin was smooth to touch and the moisture content on her skin was balanced; although the area on her chin did have some dryness. This dry area was identified as it had some redness and a rough texture with some flaked skin. Margaret also has mature skin, which was identified when I noticed some fine lines at the temples and under the eye area; this was another concern of my clients. As well as Margaret being concerned with these areas on her skin, she also like the benefit of being able to relax during her treatment and did not want to be disturbed during so. When going through the client’s previous record card I had noticed she had received treatments before, in which she had mentioned she received a face mask called cryogenic and was pleased with her results afterwards and added she would like the results of this once again.
For Margaret’s body treatment, she has concerns of cellulite on her abdomen and inner thighs; she also had concerns of tension within her back. Client had no contraindications to treatments, however she did state during the consultation, that she would also like to relax during her body treatment. To begin the facial the clients skin will be cleansed to remove any oil/dirt from the skin (washing off with soft sponges), the skin will be analysed and cleansed once again to ensure that the skin has no significant change since the consultation. The second cleanse will also be washed off using soft sponges and the skin will then be exfoliated to remove any dry or dead skin cells from the skin. Once the clients skin has been cleansed and exfoliated, an Ellison’s ampoule (hibiscin) will be applied to the skin which will give the client a non-surgical benefit of Botox; which will aid in removing her fine lines/wrinkles from the skin. After the ampoule has been applied to the skin, the client will have an Eve Taylor cryogenic setting mask applied to the face which will help to hydrate the skin as well as firm, tone and improve the elasticity of the client’s skin. Once the client’s mask has set and removed from the skin, Margaret will receive steam, which will focus of improving the hydration of the chin area.
