In this part of the assignment I will look at the different electronic and non-electronic communication methods and how these methods help a business communication effectively with the intended target audience. I will also look at the nature of the different communication method. There are two different types of communication in a business; electronic and non-electronic. The electronic methods are
There are different methods available to produce non electronic communication. The various methods of non-electronic communication include:
• Memorandum
• Letter
• Fax
• Invoice
• Publicity materials
• Email
• Screen based
• WWW
• SMS
Memorandum
A memorandum is a non-electronic method; it is a written note which will consist of message for the future. Memos are usually shorter than a business letter and usually deal with one particular subject. But the memos are not signed in the same way as a business letter. The method of communication is very simple and easy as this method is just like an email but in a written, paper format. A letter will have to be clear, especially if the letter is meant to be issuing instructions. There are certain guidelines to how to write a letter, which include and introduction, details- the main body of the letter which will state what the letter is about and the message in the letter and finally the next step which will state what the customers should do after this. The style of writing will also influence the way the people judge an organisation. The style you use is important and the different writing styles
