P4- Explain possible priorities and responses when dealing with two particular incidents or emergencies in a health or Social care setting.
Priorities means designate or treat (something) as being very or most important. Response means a reaction to something. In situations like this it’s important to make sure your responses and priorities are appropriate and thought about because you could make the situation worse with choosing a wrong decision and it will have an impact of more than you it could be the service user which is likely or other service users in the house.

The first aider must stand on something that is none conductive like a phone book or a newspaper and get something to move away the object like a wooden broom handle, if you can turn the power off of the object and if it’s a higher voltage the local power company must shut them off, but if they start feeling a tingling feeling in there lower body or bottom of their legs they must hop on to one leg and get to safe place where you could wait for help as you will not be any good to someone if your both being electrocuted, there will be nothing you can do if its higher voltage you will just have to wait till they turn it off. Once power has been turned off you need to give CPR if necessary check for other injury’s for burns, cuts, broken bones and arms and leg cuts if they bleed start applying pressure. So the first priorities are to make the electrocution stop and make sure they are ok until the ambulance arrives. There will be more than one first aider in the house so one would have to stay at home just encase there is another incident at home and they won’t have a first aider if both go, but one person that has been there and know what happened and all the story should go so when the doctors as what has happened they can tell them the original story. To make sure it’s safe to enter after when everything has calmed down and make sure the kettle is disposed of. A later priority is to address that there was an incident and to investigate it and find out what happened we would do this later to not scare people in what happened and it would be more of a priority to make sure everyone is safe first and not to close to the kitchen then after when everyone is dealt with investigate what happened so the problem won’t happen again. if it was a accident then make sure you come up with
