1. Explain what “proctoring” means and why the UoPeople requires proctored exams.
Proctoring is the hiring of an independent person to supervise over a student while taking examinations. Every student at the University of the People (UoPeople) s required to take certain proctored examinations before graduation. In line with the degree program. Also, student that are taking course, that required proctored final examination are, as a matter of fact ensure taking this exam so as to be able to complete the course. 2. What criteria are necessary for an appropriate proctor?
The Proctor must meet the following conditions:
a. Must attain the age of 21

The proctor must be offered any payment by the students and not get any benefit from the student for supervision
3. The proctor must be identified by students during registration of course that has proctor requirement and add the following information:
a. First and last name.
b. His/her email address.
c. His/her telephone number.
d. His or her occupation
e. His /her place of residence
Place of residence If this information changes before you take your proctored exam you must contact Student Services. Once you register for a course that requires a proctor you will have a step to add a proctor. If at any time you need to view your current proctor’s information. Under Student Services there is a Manage Proctor section. Since this is my first term I haven’t had to do this yet but the process seems to be easy.
