Are you a teen nervous about driving? Or an adult who just finds driving boring? If so, I’ve heard that drunk driving is a safer alternative to sober driving and also makes driving a little more flashy. The way that alcohol blurs your vision really spices up your driving experience. Recently more and more drivers have discovered the thrill of driving drunk and some even live to do it again , so make sure if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, again! While consuming alcohol however, it is crucial to make sure to beware of sober drivers. Their clear mind and vision while driving often results in the death of a drunk driver. For this reason sober driving should be made illegal and we should encourage drunk driving.
Not only is drunk driving statistically safer, but it is also much more fun. Have you ever been on a road trip with your family and had to deal with your kids fighting over who’s turn it was to play music or been nagged by your parents about driving too fast? Alcohol-impaired driving fatalities accounted for 31% of the total vehicle traffic fatalities in 2013, which means that sober driving accounted for the other 69%. If you plan on driving after consuming alcohol, you have to be extremely cautious of colliding with a sober driver. In 2014, the collision of drunk drivers with sober drivers resulted in 9,967 fatalities. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimated that there was an alcohol-impaired fatality every 53 minutes in 2013. This may seem like a large number of deaths, but compared to the number of deaths of sober drivers, those 10,000 practically never happened. It is really in every driver's best interest to drive while drunk to avoid
