I assist each individual child with their physical and emotional needs and provide adult interaction in the nursery. I work part of a team and I am aware of the nursery’s confidentiality policy.
3.2 The care I offer to the children by cleaning, feeding and changing them along with helping them learn though play and meeting their physical and emotional needs ensures that the needs of the service users are being met.
3.3 My role links to the wider sector as I establish a working relationship with other agencies such as social care workers and doctors. National occupational standards set out measurable performance outcomes that people are expected to achieve in their work.

Professional and regulatory bodies – To safeguard the public interest.
Sector skills councils – To improve learning supply. Improve Productivity. Reduce skill gaps and shortages.
Trade unions: To improve working conditons. Ensure fair wages. Improve communication between management and employee’s.
