My personal feelings about regulating the volume on earbuds and earphones, I think it is a good idea, I am a grandmother of two older grandsons and when they were in high school, they would listen to their walk men with the volume so high that I could hear the music across the room. I was constantly telling them to turn the volume down, but they never listen to me at all. Sometimes I think that they have some hearing loss today, because when you speak to them they act as if they do not hear you.
