Regulations of Football:
1. The match length must be 90 minutes long 45 minutes a half plus additional time- this is to ensure a fair playing field for all. Setting a scenario, if someone suffers a serious injury, like a leg break, the time is stopped by the 4th official, the clock still goes on, but the time it took for the player to be taken off the pitch the time will be added on at the end of 45 mins
2. Pitch Length must be between 90m-120m length and 45m-90m width- this is because it ensures a fair game as the players are used to playing full length and then play on a pitch 2x shorter.

Methods of scoring: - The whole ball must cross the line in order for it to be a goal. A new technology was introduced in all Premier League Football Grounds. The scoring system is calculate as the most goals win. The winning side is awarded 3 points at the end of the game unless it is a knockout cup game or is a friendly.
2. Offside: - Offside is where the attacker is past the last defender when the ball is played and receives or interferes with the play. If a player is offside but does not interfere with the play, the play carries on. When an offside occurs the referee will give a free kick to the defending team.
3. Fouls and misconduct- A foul can be given for anything, such as a poor tackle or a deliberate handball that is not in the rule book or is a genuine play to hurt people. A yellow card is used as a caution pick up another and you are sent off! A red card can be awarded if the referee feels it should be needed. Get one and you are automatically sent off. Depending on where the foul is committed a free kick is given for it. If it is in the box the referee will award a penalty.
