During this task I will be introducing my own business as well as explaining an existing organisation, in this scenario it will be a charity in the voluntary sector. I will also describe what the differences are, how and why they will compare to each other
Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s is one of the major supermarkets in the United Kingdom with a big share of the supermarket sector market owning 16.9%. Sainsbury’s was founded by John James Sainsbury in the year 1869. Sainsbury’s is a business owned partnership. Sainsbury’s main aims as an organisation was to produce good quality good for affordable prices for their customers. This is shown from the organisations most famous slogans “Live well for less” and “Try something new for today”. Profits made from this organisation mostly get put into bigger bonuses for CEO’s or towards stores and advertisement to attract more customers. Sainsbury’s sector is tertiary and a national business.

They investigate over 160,000 complaints on cruelty to animals. The RSPCA is the biggest and oldest charity organisation in the world (internationally) and in the UK. The main aim of the RSPCA as a charity is to stop cruelty and endorse humanity and mend the suffering of animals. All animals rescued from the RSPCA are rehabilitated, treated with the right medical attention and rehomed or freed where most suitable. Profits made in this organisation are reinforced into extra treatments and rehabilitation for the animals at best quality and also profits are put towards advertising and raising awareness of the charity.
