The aim of this unit is to develop the skills and knowledge needed for working with and leading others, through understanding the importance of recruiting the right people for the job.

Unit abstract
An organisation’s success depends very much on the people working in it, and recruiting the right people is a key factor. Organisations with effective recruitment and selection processes and practices in place are more likely to make successful staffing appointments. In competitive labour markets this is a major advantage that well-organised businesses will have over their competitors.
