The idea of an “utopia” is often thought about in one way, without any diversity. This is wrong, as no two utopias are exactly the same. One of the main contributing factors in an utopia is the diversity in which makes each society special. Although Victory City and Sacred Mountain Sanctuary have few similarities such as their societal goals, the two communities are extremely different when it comes to their education systems, their way of life, and their economics.
To begin, both Victory City and Sacred Mountain Sanctuary have the same goals for their society. The common goal is for the citizens to be peaceful. These two societies may not achieve this goal in the same way, yet still manage to achieve this ideology. Victory City uses safety methods, such as not allowing citizens to carry money (Welcome to Victory City™), which results in keeping their residents peaceful. Without money physically in hand, there is no reason for theft, therefore no violence. No taxes are paid for. Each resident has their own “bankbook” (Welcome to Victory City™) which is how everything is paid for. Essentially, the bankbook is connected to Victory City’s only bank and whenever the bankbook is scanned, the money is automatically deducted from the bank. Apartment rent is taken out of the bank each month automatically. Salary is paid by the company “insert[ing] the company's bankbook in a machine to deduct the man's salary from the company's bank balance and add it to the employee's bank balance” (Welcome to Victory City™). The employee automatically gains his paycheck without having to run to the bank, thus making being paid more efficient. To reiterate, this gives the employee more time to be productive, whether the employee is doing work or is having leisure
