I chose the role of the parent being an Uninvolved/Authoritative parent because not only is it a complex role but a lot of children that’s in neglectful/ abusive homes possess this type of parent. The mom in this scenario was involved & really didn’t care about the child’s well-being, however she wanted the daughter to do as she say’s & not a she does. Although the scenario focuses more on helping the child I wanted to display that even if the parents have too many issues to deal with the child’s best interest should be taken into consideration. The outcome for the character that plays the mom is to get her far away from the child until she gets the proper help that she needs.
