Uniforms can ruin a kids self-image. This mainly affects girls as they tend to care more about how they look. It’s been proven in a study that girls whose body is more curvy, tall, short, or bigger tend to feel like they don’t look their best. The things that uniforms do is make a lot of room for comparison. (Should…..uniforms, 2016) Since students can’t choose what they like to wear, they’re not choosing how they look to others. Meaning that uniforms can lead a lot of kids to be self-conscious more often than when they’re in normal clothing.
