With that said, a faded old scrubs is unprofessional. Additionally, staff that comes to work with wrinkled and stained scrubs is also unprofessional. There are some physicians who are unfriendly and disrespectful to nurses, and treat nurses like we do not exist. To me, patient care is about the exchange of information relating to patient’s medical and physical conditions. Without proper communication, the medical team cannot provide excellent care. Also, nurses who do not smile could bring negativity in the work environment and it does promote holistic care. In conclusion, the three slides showed professionalism. However, the only thing I noticed was none of the individuals have ID badges. An identification badge with a full name and a title make it more professional.
