As the assignment stated not everything that has to do with the crime rate or report is good. The uniform crime report has some specific advantages and some disadvantages to it. By evaluating the data I have found some pros and cons to it. Before I state my opinion UCR is a collection of crime statistics that are put together throughout the year to gauge the trends in crime types. I will start with the Cons of this type of information. The first con of this information is the stats are not 100% accurate. Now the reason why I said that is because virtually every crime that is on the books, a good portion of them are never reported. Which means uniform crime report only contains information about the crimes that are reported to law enforcement
