A unified voice is heard and persuasive in evoking change especially in the nursing practice. Many nursing organizations amplify the voice of many health professionals who are concerned with issues regarding their practice and of care delivery to their patients. Professional organizations and associations in nursing use the collective voices of professionals to shape policies and enact changes that emulate the values, goals, and obligations of the profession of nursing (Mason, Garner, Hopkins Outlaw, & O’Grady, 2016).
