Bringing down the numbers
Canada's immigration is a problem, but also a solution depending on the question. On one hand the immigration gives us more population to give jobs too but on the other hand, it's all coming too fast and we don't have the time to compensate for the fast growth causing the loss of jobs and housing. The only option here is to reduce the number of immigrants coming into the country, this will help give us time to build more housing and create new jobs. The thing is that we need immigrants, we cant keep them all out Canada is known for having diverse people, people from all around the world with different skill sets, but if we don't have enough room then a lot of those skills will be wasted on jobs they are not familiar with. But not all jobs are getting filled though, certain jobs are still not being filled with all these immigrants coming into the country, we cannot force these people into working in these jobs so why increase the number of immigrants? Instead, we should give more opportunities and classes to students in school and teach them about the jobs, that way more students might pursue that job later on fixing the issue.
Immigration is also helping Canada as well. Canada's birth rate is at a low with a rate of 1.60 births per woman so we need people coming in and filling jobs. On its own …show more content…
With 250,000 people coming into Canada each year it would only take 4 years to stack up to another million. in the first paragraph, I said we just can't compensate for those numbers, We need to bring it down, make it harder to get in, figure out why they are coming here instead of staying where they are. In total immigration is a great thing that everyone benefits from but right now it needs to be fixed, at the rate people are coming it is just too much and we cannot deal with
