As I seek to know more about God in my studies, I start to ask more questions. Recently, I have come to believe that there will always be more to know about God. Therefore, I understand it to be an ongoing venture, continuing into the future. The name “God’ in itself is vague However, if God is to be understood on the basis of particular actions attested from Scripture, the picture becomes a bit more clear. It is important to constantly seek to understand the nature of God, because the nature of God is central to Christian theology. When I read about the actions of God in Scripture, they speak of God as a Loving Trinity. Though it is difficult to fully understand the concept of God as Trinity, it remains a necessary requirement. I grew up alone, without any siblings. My parents raised only me, and raised me freely. I was able to do what I wanted to do. I do not like others touching my belongings. When I became a young adult, I realized it was important to be more social. I was greedy. I was calculating. I did not like to give up for others. I wanted to only benefit me. However, once I learned of the love of God, I changed. I understood God’s calling. I love God. The greater I understood the love of God, the more of it I wanted to share with others. I deliver that message through my preaching. That is one of the reasons I wanted to study at NYTS. I wanted to learn in order to teach others of the love of God and to serve the church. God gives gifts through his love. God has called us in different ways. God has called us in all different ways. Each people serve others through these talents.
