Throughout this paper I will be discussing how Medical Imaging uses wave behavior, why it is needed, and how it captures information and energy. I will also be explaining the differences between the types of Medical Imaging and how the MRI Scan is used in the medical field today.

Understanding Medical Imaging
Medical Imaging has several different technologies that are used to view the human body. There are different types of Medical Imaging such as MRI, X-ray, CT, ultrasound, mammography, molecular imaging, and Pet Scan. Every medical imaging has a different image when using on the human body. The MRI uses a powerful magnetic field and radio waves to get detailed pictures of the internal body structures.
