Effective communication is communication which is quick and easy to understand. Effective communication will allow the child, young person or adult to understand what you are asking of them or the instructions you are giving without any misinterpretation or misunderstandings whether it is a learning activity, how to keep safe, rules within a setting or in difficult situations.
