Politics Factor: The pressure to cut cost by closing the home and moving service users to less expensive place due to cut in services. The type of government and stability. Freedom of press, rule of law and levels of bureaucracy and corruption. Regulation and de-regulation trends. Both big and small political forces influence may affect the performance of or the options open to the organisations. Health and social care is a statutory funded industry. This is another way of studying healthcare. Population growth rate such as people living longer than before will mean more money and other services will be provided. Social trend like religion play a part in cultural change, were not many people will want to work on the day they are suppose worship their gods. The Jewish people will not work on a Sabbath or will the Christians work on Sunday Change in lifestyle like eating habits among social health care issues. The overcrowded hospital wards where there is no privacy. Most people now want to wait before starting a family which result decreasing rate in fertility. There is also demographic change in the way people live and work but not everyone likes change. Which Denise found difficult because the service users’ families and staff found it difficult to accept
