Understand Current Decision Making Process

To fully understand current decision making process at both companies, the researcher accepted an invitation from both companies to attend decision making session as observer. This was an excellent opportunity for the researcher not only to see and understand the actual decision making process itself but also very good opportunity to conduct an interview with participants who are currently involved in the current decision making process.
The observation session was allowed the researcher to have very good insight into decision making practices, help to understand current practices, locate areas for improvement and collect initial requirements. Observation session allows the researcher to see what people actually do, rather than what they say
