Hello Families Over the next few weeks, we will be discussing feelings and how to express them in different ways. This week we are learning about ANGER. Anger “is one of the basic emotions and it signals that something is wrong, that something is blocking us from getting something that we need, a goal.” (Marion, 2015, p. 210)

Understand Anger in Young Children
Children at this young age become angry over things they cannot control and because of their ability to tell us in words we understand, they get upset and may even yell, act out of character, avoid people, and possibly use physical aggression towards the person they are angry at.

    From my current placement I have experience of working with a child going through this transition, this had a very big effect on the child holistically.
